a chance to lose a letter

<<

<<

Something slips out, a gap in our words, a forgetting, a difficulty of telling, a misplaced document. Something slips in, and another story becomes possible. Letters lost in the mail, finding themselves again by an unexpected route. Bodies that never quite ended up were they were intended, and along the way became extraordinary and beautiful. Identities creating ourselves anew with a fold, an impossibility, a failure of language that makes new words conceivable.

Welcome to deadletters. It's a bit of my writing over the last few years. A few difficult explorations across bodies, across thought and struggle, across inchoate yearnings for a very different sort of world.

Lose a word behind, before you go.
